Harnett Regional Water Lifts Stage 1 Water Conservation Measures

Harnett County announces that, effective today (August 21, 2026), previously implemented Stage 1 water conservation measures are no longer in effect. 

Recent conditions have improved sufficiently to allow the community to resume normal water use. Residents and businesses may return to routine water-use practices, while continuing to use water responsibly to avoid unnecessary waste.

We appreciate the cooperation and conservation efforts of everyone in our community during the period of water-use restrictions. Your efforts helped to protect our water supply and aided our water utility’s operational efforts during challenging conditions.
